Consolidated e-way bill (EWB-02)

What it is

A transporter carrying several consignments in one vehicle can generate a single consolidated EWB (EWB-02) that lists all the individual EWB numbers. The driver carries one document instead of many.

Steps

1. Make sure each consignment already has its own valid EWB.
2. On the portal, choose Consolidated EWB → Generate New.
3. Enter the vehicle number and add each EWB number.
4. Submit to get the consolidated EWB number.

Things to remember

• It does not extend the validity of individual EWBs.
• If the vehicle changes, regenerate the consolidated EWB (or update the vehicle for it).
• Cancelling an individual EWB is done on that EWB, not on the consolidated one.
