| Normal cargo | 1 day for every 200 km or part of it |
| Over-dimensional cargo (ODC) | 1 day for every 20 km or part of it |

Distance calculation
- The portal auto-calculates the PIN-to-PIN distance.
- You may enter up to 10% more than the auto distance (for detours); not more.
- If dispatch and delivery PINs are the same, the maximum distance allowed is 100 km.
- If the portal has no distance for a PIN pair, you enter it manually.
Quick examples
- 450 km normal cargo → 3 days
- 60 km ODC → 3 days
- 199 km → 1 day
Use the E-way bill validity tool on the Tools page to calculate the exact expiry.
